EE5 Current Sence Transformers

The EE5 series represents a compact, surface-mount current transformer family engineered for precision and reliability in demanding power electronics. Featuring a low-profile EE5 core, this series is specifically designed for automated SMD assembly, enabling high-density PCB layouts without sacrificing performance.

These transformers excel with an operational frequency extending up to 1 MHz and a robust primary current rating of 40 A, supported by outstanding thermal stability and minimal phase shift across a wide temperature range from -40 °C to +130 °C. This combination ensures accurate, low-drift current sensing for both small and large signals within a wide dynamic range.

Ideal for a broad spectrum of industrial and commercial applications, the EE5 series is perfectly suited for AC current detection and metering in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and energy converters.
